Marc Snyder is too extreme for colorado
Since taking office, Marc Snyder has pushed policies that have hurt Colorado’s working-class families and made our communities more dangerous.
As a State House Representative, covering Colorado Springs and Woodland Park, his decisions have been completely out of touch with the struggles of hardworking people. His policies have fueled rising crime, job instability, and skyrocketing living costs.
Now he thinks he should be elected to the State Senate. Tell him NO!
El Paso County deserves a representative who will stand up for their safety and livelihoods—not one whose decisions make life harder and more dangerous. It’s time to hold Marc Snyder accountable and vote him out.
Voted to Release Undocumented Immigrants Who Commit Crimes
Thanks to a bill backed by Marc Snyder, local law enforcement is now prohibited from holding undocumented immigrants arrested for illegal activities, letting them walk free with no way to track their criminal backgrounds. This reckless policy has repeatedly allowed dangerous individuals to slip through the cracks and dodge justice, sacrificing public safety for bureaucratic agendas.
Marc Snyder’s support for this measure shows blatant disregard for the safety and well-being of the people he was elected to protect.
Voted To Kill Colorado's Oil & Gas Industry
Marc Snyder’s votes to attack Colorado’s oil and gas industry is reckless and a direct threat to the livelihoods of thousands of hardworking Coloradans.
This $48 billion industry provides vital jobs and supports countless families across the state. His votes show blatant disregard for the struggling middle class, not just in his district, but across the state.

Voted to cut your TABOR refunds by 85%
In 2022, Coloradans got “Colorado Cashback” TABOR refund checks, and in 2023 and 2024, when inflation was crushing families, they relied on $800 TABOR refunds at tax time.
Now, that much-needed relief is vanishing. Marc Snyder voted for legislation that guts those refunds by over 85%. Instead of giving taxpayers the support they desperately needed, he funneled that money into his own pet projects, leaving hardworking Coloradans with less in their wallets when they can least afford it.

Voted to strip women and families of their right to self defense
Marc Snyder cast a reckless vote to strip women and families of their right to defend themselves, leaving them sitting ducks for criminals who couldn’t care less about these restrictions. The bill targeted law-abiding citizens, leaving them defenseless, while empowering criminals to act without fear.
This poorly conceived legislation, disguised as public safety, did nothing but make crime easier and more likely, putting innocent people directly in harm’s way.

Voted to exempt himself and other lawmakers from government transparency
After the legislature was sued for violating Colorado’s Open Meeting laws, Marc Snyder backed a bill shielding himself and other lawmakers from the transparency laws meant to keep them accountable. By supporting this measure, Snyder endorsed secrecy in government, blocking citizens and the media from accessing crucial information.
Snyder also voted to let government officials deny citizens access to public records under the Colorado Open Records Act, forcing them to fight through expensive court battles just to get information—even about themselves. Meanwhile, he made sure the elitist media was exempt from these restrictions.
